Spiritual formation happens at home! You are laying the foundation for your child's spiritual future. It's a fear-invoking but blessings-giving task. Here are some ideas to help you at home.
Here's an easy mission project you can do at home. Take a large sheet of white paper, approximately 11x17. You can get this size paper from the Children's Ministries Office if you don't have any at home.
Using crayons or markers, draw pictures, write encouraging words (Ex: Faith, Hope, Joy, Love), or create puzzles and rhymes to brighten the day of one of our Houston area inmates. Please do not use paint or stickers. There are strict guidelines we must abide by on this project.
Completed placemats can be dropped by the Office of Children's Ministries anytime. We'll pass them on to our volunteers in this ministry area.
