FAQ's about Christ.com:
1. What is different about Christ.com and regular Sunday School? Christ.com is built on the "workshop rotation model" of teaching. Children are divided into one of four color groups and each group attends one of four workshops on Sunday morning. Groups rotate between the four workshops so that at the end of four Sundays, each color group has attended each of the four worshops.
2. What happens in a workshop? While all four workshops focus on the same Bible lesson, each workshop teaches the lesson in a different way. Kids experience teaching in lots of different styles. Workshops include computers, geography, storytelling, games, cooking, puppets, etc.
3. What is Donut Day & Mission Day? About once every five weeks the color groups all gather together for a party called Donut Day. There are prizes, trivia games, fun activities.....and donuts, of course! Mission Day happens about as often and is a time when the kids gather to perform a mission project. This might be doing placemats for prisoners, writing letters to shut-ins, etc.
