1. The suggested way to avoid problems is:

a. Stay at home.
b. Don't be alone with children or youth.
c. Make all parents stay during class.
2. What if I don't want to do a background check?
Choose One
a. That's not an option. All volunteers having contact with children/youth must be safe sanctuary certified.
b. Enter the Witness Protection Program and we'll never know the difference.
c. Refuse to fill out a background check form.
3. Is it okay to change diapers on infants?

a. Yes just do it out in the open.
b. No. Parents have to change their own children.
c. No. All children with wet diapers should be sent to the church nursery.
4. Is it okay to hug other people?

a. No. We don't believe in physical contact.
b. Yes. Hugs are required.
c. Yes but take into account the age of the child/youth being hugged. For older children and youth a side-to-side hug is more appropriate.
5. What if the fire alarm goes off?

a. Just stay in your room until someone tells you if there is really a fire.
b. Evacuate immediately.
c. Send a kid to see what's going on.
6. In your interactions with others..

a. It's not the intent that matters but how it is perceived.
b. Only talk to others if a second person is present.
c. Try to avoid interactions with persons of the opposite sex.

b. Trust no one. Adopt a cat or dog instead!
c. Always carry band-aides and an ice pack. Safety first!
10. In a medical emergency you should:

a. Don't touch the child at all under any circumstances until a staff person arrives.
b. Call 911 if need be. You don't have to wait for permission!
c. Gather all the children and leave the area immediately. You can always send someone back later for the injured person.
