VOLUNTEERS ONLY!

Thanks so much for being a volunteer with MDUMC kids!   Please sign up below to be a part of our Sunday School.    It is required that all volunteers and staff have Safe Sanctuary training, which consists of completing an application form, watching a short training video, and having 2 reference forms completed.  Please click the "Safe Sanctuary" box in the upper left side of this page for all of the details.

Sunday Volunteers

Sundays are a busy day at MDUMC! We have approximately 16 children's Sunday school classes, and each class requires 2-3 teachers every week.  Each class has a teaching team, whereas the teaching responsibilities are on a rotating basis.  We provide the curriculum and supplies; our teachers are  asked to show up with a willing attitude and a smile!   If teaching is not your cup of tea, consider serving as a greeter. A greeter welcomes families, helps visitors get registered, and guides them to class. Another helpful position is being an office assistant, which entails providing information and help as needed.
