Worship

MDUMC has four worship services each Sunday morning. Three are traditional services in our sanctuary and occur at 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Dr. Charles B. Simmons, our senior pastor, typically preaches, and holy communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.

You will want to check out the children's kiosk in the narthex.  There you will find notebooks with activity sheets and a variety of things to help keep your child occupied during worship.

If you prefer less formal worship, please check out our Journey Worship service at 11:01! This service is led by Rev. Daniel Irving at the Well.  A children's sermon takes place at each service and the atmosphere is very child-friendly.

Additionally, a Wednesday night contemplative service occurs weekly at 6:30 p.m. led by Rev. Suzy Reedstrom.  A light supper is often available before and after this service.

Children are always welcome at all of our worship services. Parents may prefer, however, to leave their youngest children in the church nursery. If you so choose, the nursery is open and ready to receive your little ones during all of our worship services.    Nursery facilities are available on both campusses.

Just down the hall from the sanctuary the church has provided a Wiggle Room with a live feed of the Sunday morning worship services. Should parents ever feel the need to leave the sanctuary for a few moments or even the remainder of the service, the Wiggle Room is a wonderfully comfortable place to go and finish out the service.
